Oil on air-hardening clay on wood

A wide bloom built on white, brushed through with coral, pink, and warm apricot that gather toward the petal tips. Each petal shows one colour face-on and another from the side, so the work changes as the viewer moves past it: turn, and cool pale blue surfaces along the curled edges and undersides, where it stays hidden head-on.
Hand-built in air-hardening clay, finished in layered oil.
Exhibited at Mall Galleries, London, as a guest exhibitor at Wildlife Artist of the Year 2026 with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, September 2026.
