Oil on air-hardening clay on wood

Yellow, seen straight on — cream and butter petals with a warm apricot flush toward the centre. Move to the side and the pink comes forward: rose held in the curl of each petal, kept back until the profile lets it show. One flower, two colours, decided by where you stand.
Hand-built in air-hardening clay, finished in layered oil.
Exhibited at Mall Galleries, London, as a guest exhibitor at Wildlife Artist of the Year 2026 with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, September 2026.
