Oil on air-hardening clay on wood

Five blooms open across the panel in soft rose and warm pink, their petals curling at the edges to show green — the turn of the collection worked across a whole composition rather than a single flower. Small white flowers settle in the spaces between. The colour is full, high summer; the arrangement is still.
Hand-built in air-hardening clay, finished in layered oil.
Exhibited at Mall Galleries, London, as a guest exhibitor at Wildlife Artist of the Year 2026 with the David Shepherd Wildlife Foundation, September 2026.
